Somebody's simulator sits empty while somebody else is looking for one
A simulator sitting empty on a Tuesday afternoon earns the venue nothing. A golfer who'd play that hour, if they knew where and for how much, never finds out it's open. SessionPass lists it and lets them book it in a couple of minutes.
The problem on both sides
Indoor golf simulator venues have a lot of hours nobody books. Evenings and weekends fill up fast. Mid-mornings, weekday afternoons, and the last slot before close usually sit open. Every one of those hours is a bay the venue already paid for and gets nothing from.
Golfers who'd happily fill that time don't have a good way to find it. There's no single place to see which simulators are nearby, what they cost, and what's actually open right now. So the golfer either doesn't bother, or goes somewhere they already know, at full price.
What SessionPass does
SessionPass is a shared marketplace for that unsold time. Venues list the hours they aren't otherwise going to sell, at a discount they choose. Golfers browse simulators near them, compare real prices and open times across venues, and book a bay in a couple of minutes.
Venues keep running prime time exactly as they always have, at their own hours and rates. SessionPass only sells the leftover time a venue chooses to list, and takes a cut only when a booking actually happens.
How it works
Venues open their slow hours
A venue picks which hours to list and what to charge. It's usually a discount off their normal rate, since it's time they wouldn't otherwise sell.
Golfers find a sim nearby
SessionPass shows every listed venue near you, with real prices and real open times you can see and book directly.
Book, show up, play
Payment happens online in the same flow. The bay is held at the price you saw while the venue confirms, and your card is only charged once they do. Then you get arrival and entry instructions.
Run a sim venue?
If you've got hours that regularly go unbooked, SessionPass turns them into revenue instead of nothing. You set the hours and the price, and nothing else about how you run the venue changes. No monthly fee.
Privacy, in plain terms
We keep our own simple count of which pages get visited, with no cookies and no record of who you are. It helps us see which venues people are actually interested in, so we know who to reach out to next. Separately, we advertise on Google, and the Google Ads tag on this site uses cookies to measure whether those ads lead to visits and bookings. Details and opt-outs are in the privacy policy.
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost?
Whatever the venue sets for that hour. It's usually less than their normal walk-in rate, since SessionPass only sells time they weren't going to sell anyway. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. No surprise fees added after.
How do I get into the building?
You'll get an entry code by email (and by text, if you opted in) about 30 minutes before your session starts, along with the venue's address and phone number. If it doesn't arrive or doesn't work, call the venue directly. The number is on your confirmation.
What if my booking isn't confirmed?
Every booking is a request until the venue confirms it, and your card isn't charged unless it does. If a venue can't take it, you'll hear right away and nothing is charged. Why bookings get declined.
Do I need my own clubs?
Check the specific venue's page. What's available on-site varies by location.
What if I need to cancel?
Email bookings@sessionpassgolf.com with your booking reference by noon (Mountain time) the day before your session, and you're refunded in full except Stripe's processing fee. After that, there's no refund. The slot usually can't be resold in time for the venue.
Is this the same as booking directly with the venue?
You're booking hours a venue has set aside specifically for SessionPass, usually at a discount. The venue runs its own regular hours and pricing exactly as it always has. SessionPass only handles the leftover time it chooses to list.
Which areas does SessionPass cover?
The Denver, Colorado metro area right now, starting with Broomfield. More venues get added as they join. The directory also shows nearby sims SessionPass doesn't book yet, so you can see what's around either way.
Is payment secure?
Payment is handled by Stripe, the same processor most major booking and e-commerce sites use. SessionPass never sees or stores your card number.
